1. I thank You that my children are a gift from You.
Psalms 127:3, “Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him.”
2. I thank You that each of my children will accomplish and complete God’s will and design for their lives, even to the smallest detail.
1 Chronicles 29:19 (TLB), “Make my son Solomon completely committed to you so that he will obey your commands, requests, and laws and do everything to build the palace I have planned.”
3. I thank You that each of my children will dream God-sized dreams, and they will never let fear keep them from doing so.
Jeremiah 29:11 (TLB), “I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope.”
2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP), “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and we//balanced mind and discipline and self-control.”
4. I thank You that they have Godly friends.
2 Timothy 2:22 (TLB), “Stay away from lusts which tempt young people. Pursue what has God’s approval. Pursue faith, love, and peace together with those who worship the Lord with a pure heart.”
5. I thank You that my children walk in favor.
Psalm 5:12 (NKJV), “For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.”
6. I thank You that you put a hedge of protection around each of them, and they will never be a victim of rape, molestation, abuse, or neglect. Thank You that they will never be put in a dangerous life- threatening situation.
Psalm 28:7 (TLB), “The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart trusted him, so I received help. My heart is triumphant; I give thanks to him with my song.”
7. I thank You that they have a strong immune system, and they walk in divine health.
Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV), “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
8. I thank You that they will apply themselves in school and excel in every subject. I thank You that they will have no learning disabilities; they will graduate with honors; and they will get into the college of their choice.
Daniel 1:4 (KJV), “Children in whom was no blemish, but well favored, and skillful in all wisdom, such as had ability in them to stand in the king’s palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.”

9. I thank You that they will remain pure throughout life, and when they marry, they will marry Godly mates and remain true to each other throughout their lives.

10. I thank You that they will always be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and his leading.
Acts 9:31, “Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.”
11. I thank You that they will never allow discouragement, hard times, or obstacles to cause them to give up, but they will see things through to completion.
Psalm 112:6-8, “Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon his enemies.”
12. I thank You that they are free from anxiety and fear.

13. I thank You that my children are responsible and that You have instilled in them a strong work ethic.

14. I thank You that they live lives of integrity and honesty.
Psalm 25:21 (TLB), “Integrity and honesty will protect me because I wait for you.”
Romans 12:17 (TLB), “Don’t pay people back with evil for the evil they do to you. Focus your thoughts on those things that are considered noble.”
15. I thank You that they have a passion for You and Your Word.
Psalm 119:96-98 (TLB), “I have seen a limit to everything else, but your commandments have no limit. Oh, how I love your teachings! They are in my thoughts all day long. Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, because your commandments are always with me.”
Proverbs 13:13 (TLB), “Whoever despises God’s words will pay the penalty, but the one who fears God’s commands will be rewarded.”
16. I thank You that not one of my children will die an early death, but they will finish their course with joy.

17. I thank You that Your faithfulness extends to my children and to their children.
